The upcoming Nintendo Wii U exclusive platformer Kirby and the Rainbow Curse/Paintbrush (depending where you live) is hitting the UK market far earlier than Nintendo had originally hinted at.
A previous Nintendo Direct presentation had said that the latest Kirby game would be released in the UK in the second half of 2015. However Nintendo have now announced a much sooner release date of the 8th of May.
It follows a similar vein to the older DS game, Kirby: Canvas Curse – using the gamepads touch screen to roll the loveably pink blob along throughout the levels. The game will feature multiplayer of up to four people, presumably with a different control scheme. And also expect some sort of Amiibo functionality with the Kirby based Amiibos – Kirby, King Dedede and Meta Knight.
