Square Enix has confirmed it will launch a Final Fantasy XV demo in March 2015.
The demo which has been titled “Episode Duscae” which will allow you early access to the open-world area of Final Fantasy XV which has been named… Duscae, bet you didn’t see that coming!
In a recent announcement that was released the original director Tetsuya Nomura has been replaced by Hajime Tabat who worked on Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core and Type-0, with this change you can see in the trailer that the game is going to be much more action based and fast paced. It has also been said that the title has been influenced by such game series as Assassin’s Creed and Grand Theft Auto. The trailer follows Noctis and his friends on a road trip that any adventurer would be happy to be a part of, cruising round in a fancy motor driving round some huge ass monsters. The graphics as you expect from all Final Fantasy games look very beautiful and from the small snippets of gameplay we get to witness that there appears to be a lot of co-op action between characters on the battlefield. I for one am very much looking forward to this title. I have always been more of a turn based RPG gamer but from seeing how over the years RPG’s have progressed in gameplay and style it is hard not to look at this and just want to jump straight in. If they have got the mix of story, action and actual gamplay mixed in well this is going to be one solid title that no Final Fantasy fan will want to miss.
If you would like to get your hands on the demo you will be happy to hear that a voucher code will be included in all copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD which has been announced for release on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on 20th March 2015 in Europe, if you have not seen the new 2014 trailer for this title then we have included it below for your pleasure.
